TIPS TO ENHANCE SCORE IN SSC EXAMINATIONS

Develop a strong base for General Awareness section:

The candidates general awareness sections as the most challenging as they are not able to understand the method of learning History, Polity, Geography and other topics related to general awareness section.  It is advisable to analyze the General Studies or GK section of previous years of SSC exam they are appearing.  It will give them an idea as to what type of questions is repeated every year.  Generally topics like, the first in India, Constitutional articles & amendments, commonly used chemicals, folk dances of India etc., are commonly asked every year. Understand and practice the basics of Quantitative Aptitude

Quantitative Aptitude section is the most difficult section experienced by the aspirants as it is time consuming.  It is better to learn short tricks and methods for the topics like Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Menstruation and Trigonometry. Master them by giving ample of time to practice. Those who are not comfortable with the tricks they should understand the basic concepts before applying them.

Always bear in mind that short tricks can go wrong or ditch you anytime if basics are not clear.

Current Affairs are important for SSC Exam

The main subjects for General Awareness Section of SSC Exam are History, Polity, Geography, Science and Economics.  Questions are exclusively asked from these subjects but most of the students think that Current Affairs are simply waste of time and ignore them. 

Every year 5-6 questions related to current affairs are asked in this section.  It includes the major events of last 6 months and one can easily score 6-7 marks if one keeps oneself aware of the latest news headlines.
