Things to avoid while preparing for SSC CGL Exam

SSC CGL is a very comprehensive and competitive exam. It is open for graduates which makes it a difficult exam. When it comes to exam preparation sometimes students become nervous and start it randomly. Picking the topics randomly or books without going through the standard and pattern it is following. This makes the SSC CGL Exam preparation slow and worthless.

There are some precautions that one must follow while preparing for SSC CGL EXAM.

Do not be nervous
Give your 100 per cent while preparing for SSC CGL exam. In case you have come across any difficult question or topic, do not be nervous rather solve it with the help of a subject expert.

Avoid selective study
Focus on all the sections of the question paper rather than developing favoritism for one or two and avoiding the difficult one. Give equal importance to all the sections to crack the exam with good score.

Do not rely much on short tricks
Do not follow any short trick without understanding the basic fundamentals as it is going to confuse you. It will never work wonders unless you do it in the right direction. Understand the concepts in the class before you adopt any short trick.

Never ignore revision
Revise all the topics already covered daily. Take the help of SSC CGL online test series and take topic tests from there. Analyze your performance and work accordingly to improve on your weak areas. Sometime we ignore the weak areas and move further. It makes the exam preparation less result oriented.

Join coaching center with competitive infrastructure
Do not join any SSC COACHING INSTITUTE IN CHANDIGARH or elsewhere without finding out the status of the same in the market. Make a proper survey by asking ex-students or existing students about the institute and its working. Performance of the coaching center by finding out the success rate it has for the last few years.

Practice from previous year papers:
Practice from previous year question papers as most of the questions are repeated from various years. This practice is very helpful to know the important topics and also gives an idea about your strengths and weakness.
